Our Story
Slip Signal’s innovation was born out of a recurring problem in the lab when electrical engineers were designing sensitive electronic equipment that often led to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) problems. Virtually every electronic product is required to pass an EMI test before it can be brought to market. And 97% of electronic products fail on the first attempt.
At Slip Signal, we are driven by a passion for innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Our story is one of continuous exploration, creativity, and a commitment to addressing the most complex challenges in semiconductor design.
Slip Signal is led by three highly qualified co-founders with over 40 years of experience in technology, electronic design, EMI, and regulatory compliance.
Dr. Paige Shelborne, CEO, is an accomplished leader and serial technology entrepreneur with experience in global operations and regulatory compliance. Paige has a Doctor of Health Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master of Business Administration from Baker University, and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College.
Dr. Ernest Kwegyir-Afful, COO, has direct experience dealing with EMI in electronic equipment. He has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland, an M.Phil Pt. 1 in Biochemistry, and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
Mr. Robert Murphy, CTO, is the architect and digital logic expert. He has worked in a laboratory for many years and has a Bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
